This is the reddit community for OpenEmu help and discussion. OpenEmu is changing the world of video game emulation. For the first time, the 'it just works' philosophy now extends to open source video game emulation on the Mac.
With OpenEmu it is easy to add, browse, organize and with a compatible gamepad, play those favorite games (ROMs) you already own. • • • • • • • • • Rules 1) Asking/showing where to find games (ROMs) and BIOS files is not allowed. Serial killer.
2) Don't post PlayStation (PSX) tutorial videos unless they follow the steps on the wiki exactly. 3) Posts about Pokemon games on DS will be removed.

Just tried it out tonight, pretty much the same problem as you’re describing, but, i would get about 2 second window, which was enough to delete the offending entry. Thoughts: 1) folder a i had game shark. Folder b, my game.
I symlinked the gameshark 4 bin+cue into folder b, m3u’d it up. My guess is you didn’t go to this trouble, so i can rule it out. 2) it could be freezing on the disc/name lookup. 3) it could be freezing on the art lookup.
4) my guess is that wherever openemu looks up discs/names/art, it uses disc count as part of the equation. As whatever we try to use it with will never have +1 disc for the game we’re looking up, this could be the source of the crash. 5) my other thought as to the crash is this would be the 2nd copy of the game in openemu. But this seems the least likely to me. Sorry about the hard delete and reinstall. I was worried i’d have to do the same. There’s got to be an easier way to delete the offending entries than what we did, right?
